Surrounded by lush rainforest of the Illawarra Escarpment with views overlooking the wider Wollongong area, Mount Keira Scout Camp is equipment for amazing camping experiences.
Among the great activities possible at Mt Keira Scout Camp are:

The Camp is also a fine base for many activities in the surrounding Illawarra Region.
Camp Flat
Large, flat area provides camping space for up to 60. Toilet blocks are located adjacent to the main camp flat.
Includes Baden Powell Grove, often used for parade ground.
Campfire Circle
A favourite space for our visitors, the campfire circle is the home to many singalongs, skits and memories.
Stunning views over Wollongong.
Storm Shelter
A covered area for wet weather activities.
Also where our on site defibrillator (AED) and first aid equipment is stored.
Please note, the kitchen facilities and equipment in this building are currently NOT available.
Out-of-bounds
Whilst we undertake important repairs and maintenance, some areas of the camp are out-of-bounds.
Please ensure all visitors are remaining in permitted areas only.
